Gear hobbing machine CUGIR FD 400  

The machine is designed for hobbing by using a worm wheel cutter.
The machine can be used for machining gears as one-off, small lot or mass production.
The following cutting operations can be done on this machine:
- spur gear cutting
- screw wheel cutting
- spiral gear cutting
- worm gear cutting with worm wheel cutter of radial feed
- worm gear cutting with worm wheel cutter of tangential feed
- worm gear cutting with flying cutter of tangential feed
- spur or helical gear cutting of small tapering (spur-bevel gears)
- cutting of wheels with teeth that may be generated trough hobbing (sprockets, splined shafts etc)
